As we’ve reported, Wetlands Preserved: The Story of an Activist Rock Club will close out the Green Apple Music and Arts festival. The world premiere will take place at New York’s Ziegfeld Theater on Sunday, April 23 at 6:30PM. A limited number of tickets to the screening are now on sale at www.relix.com/wetlandsmovie with a commemorative poster offered as part of the ticket package. The film traces the history of fabled New York City nightclub Wetlands Preserve through archival footage, soundboard recordings and the efforts of a dozen digital animators. Wetlands Preserved features music from Phish, Blues Traveler, moe., The Disco Biscuits, Dave Matthews Band, Sublime, Ben Harper, Spearhead, 311, Ani DiFranco, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Spin Doctors, Fishbone, Agnostic Front and many additional artists.
