Tomorrow night Perpetual Groove will open a two night stand in Huntsville, Alabama at Crossroads. These shows will mark the group’s first performances since last weekend’s fourth annual Amberland gathering. Perpetual Groove performed over fifteen hours of music last Saturday and Sunday at the festival, which this year took place in Deerfields, NC. Guitarist Brock Butler also delivered a bonus extended solo set during the breakfast hours of Sunday morning. Other highlights included: guest appearances by Will Bradford (SeepeopleS) and Damien Perry (brother of PGroove bassist Adam Perry), some bingo action and Perpetual Grooves Sunday night version of the Super Mario Brothers theme which also featured appearances from Mario, Luigi, The Princess, question mark cubes, 100 gold coins and a gigantic NES controller. No Nintendo characters or paraphernalia are confirmed for the Crossroad shows this weekend but one never knows.
