As the RatDog/String Cheese Incident tour continues to gather steam, so does the pace of collaborations. Last night at Phoenix’s Dodge Theater, RatDog saxophonist Kenny Brooks appeared with String Cheese for versions of ‘Freedom Jazz Dance’ and ‘I Wish.’ Later on in the evening, Bill Nershi sat in with RatDog for the first time this summer, as he and Michael Kang appeared for the ‘Deal’ encore. The tour continues tomorrow at the Salt Air Pavilion in Salt Lake City, Utah.
