After a busy year on the road, Calexico will close out 2006 with a handful of homestate shows. The Arizona-natives will breeze through Tucson, Albuquerque, Flagstaff, and Tempe, AZ from December 2-5, before supporting Los Lobos at San Franciscos The Fillmore from December 8-9. The duos Tucson show will benefit go KXCI, a local community sponsored radio station, as well as Humane, which offers humanitarian assistance to those in need through more than 70 emergency water stations near the U.S.-Mexican border. Calexicos most recent album, Garden Ruin, discusses Arizonas political climate on a number of tracks.
