New Monsoon sold out San Franciscos famed Fillmore Auditorium for the first time Saturday. As a treat, ALO guitarist Dan Lebowitz performed with the group for much of its set, offering particularly notable appearances on Traveling Gypsies, Fearless. and En Fuego. The group also nodded to its psychedelic-rock roots by busting out a cover of Blind Faith song Had to Cry Today. New Monsoon will perform at Eugene, ORs WOW Hall Thursday.
