Over this past weekend, Zero returned to San Francisco for two shows at the Fillmore. The line-up for the performance on Friday February 2 included Steve Kimock, his son John Morgan Kimock, Greg Anton, Martin Fierro, Liam Hanrahan, Melvin Seals and Suzanne Sterling. The next day, longtime Zero associate Pete Sears contributed on keys while Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay stepped in for Sterling on vocals. Alas, Bobby Vega did not appear but the weekend also included guest appearances by ALOs Dan Lebowitz, Sikiru Adepoju (Planet Drum, Rhythm Devils), Suzanne Sterling and Arnie Green (whose daughter sang ‘Hey Jude’ as a birthday present on Friday). No additional Zero dates have been confirmed although more shows are expected over the coming year.
