Bassnectar will issue his next studio album, Underground Communication, May 8 on OM Records. For those who havent seen him support String Cheese Incident or on Jam Cruise in the past year, Bassnectar—-the brainchild Lorin Ashton—-is a self-described experimentally collaborative music project [and] also a platform for social change and political awareness. The experimental DJ will appear Friday at San Franciscos 1015 Folsom.
