Tonight Tom Hamilton will conclude his weekly residency at New Yorks Living Room with a trio set featuring his American Babies bandmates Jim Hamilton (bass) and Joe Russo (drums). Tomorrow, however, that trio will pick up a few additional Fat Mama members for a performance at Philadelphias World Cafive. That stacked American Babies lineup will feature the Hamilton brothers, Russo, former Fat Mama members Jonathan Goldberger (guitar) and Kevin Kendrick (vibes), vocalist Moira Cohen, and Disco Biscuits keyboardist Aron Magner. The group promises a Saloon-style, sit down performance with Goldberger trying his hand at pedal steel.

As previously reported, on Saturday the entire Fat Mama lineup performed together for the first time in several years at New Yorks Lakeside Lounge. The event celebrated Kendricks 30th birthday and featured material from his new project A Big Yesand a Small No.
