Jesus Christ Superstar, Citizen Cope at Wakarusa
Wakarusa 2007 has confirmed another round of artist additions. The latest batch of artists slated to appear at the multi-band gathering includes: John Butler Trio, Citizen Cope, Sam Bush, The Avett Brothers, Deep Fried Pickle Project, Green Lemon, Groovatron and That 1 Guy. Moreover, the festival will offer a live performance of the musical score to Jesus Christ Superstar delivered by a fifteen member cast. As previously reported, Wakarusa will take place from June 7-10 in Lawarence, Kansas, featuring Widespread Panic, Ben Harper, Les Claypool, MMW, Yonder Mountain String Band and Michael Franti, among others.
