Adrian Belews Midwest run with Umphreys McGee stopped last night at Grand Rapids, MIs The Orbit Room. Similar to Wednesday nights festivities, after opening the evening Belew stuck around to add auxiliary guitar to a few songs during Umphreys McGees set. Belew emerged during one of Umphreys McGees improvisational Jimmy Stewart segments and stuck around to lend a hand during both the Umphreys McGee original Great American and the King Crimson number Red (which Belew also performed with Umphreys McGee on Wednesday). Belew returned during Umphreys McGees encore for a first time cover of the Beatles Come Together. Belew will support Umphreys McGee again tonight at Pontiac, MIs Clutch Cargos.
