moe. and Leftover Salmon to Headline Red Rocks
moe. and a recently reunited Leftover Salmon will co-headline a show at Morrison, COs Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 28. The gig marks the third time moe. has headlined the amphitheatre with another band: in 2005 the group played Red Rocks with Govt Mule and in 2006 Umphreys McGee supported moe. at the famed venue. While Leftover Salmons Vince Herman seemed unsure how long the groups reunion would last during his recent site interview, the seminal group has also confirmed gigs at the High Sierra and All Good music festivals.
In other news, moe. has confirmed a handful of additional acts for its annual moe.down festival. The latest round of artist additions includes State Radio, Strangefolk and Acoustic Forum, which features moe. drummer Vinnie Amico and the Merry Dankster duo of Dave Ruch and Rolf Witt. Other confirmed acts include Ryan Adams, Medeski Scofield Martin and Wood, Amos Lee, the Meat Puppets and, of course, moe.
