A few days after a fire destroyed its Brooklyn apartment/base of operations, Sam Champion celebrated the completion of its forthcoming album, Heavenly Bender, at New Yorks Bowery Ballroom. Guster percussionist Brian Rosenworcel stopped by to see the gig and played maracas on the bands opening number, TV Fever. In addition to knowing Sam Champion frontman Noah Chernin from his days working at Wetlands, Rosenworcel also produced the groups debut album, Slow Rewind. Sam Champions next scheduled date is an appearance at the sixth annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
