Back in 2004, Widespread Panic bassist Dave Schools contributed an essay to the The Best of Talking Heads. Last evening, Schools performed one of the Heads’ signature tunes along with one of its four members. Indeed, during the second set of he Widespread Panic show, Jerry Harrison emerged along with percussionist Wally Ingram and contributed to Panics Holden Oversoul which segued into the Talking Heads Life During Wartime and then on into Drumz. This was the second Harrison sighting of the week, as on Monday he also was in the house for the closing night of music at Sweetwater. Panic returns to the Paramount this evening to close out its three show run at the venue.
