The work of longtime Relix photographer Michael Weintrob will be featured in an art show benefiting The New Orleans Music Clinic. The art shows opening reception will be held at Boulder, COs Guitar Cellar from 6 PM-10 PM this Thursday, October 25 and the event will feature live music from drummer Zack Littlefield, reeds player John Stewart and guitarist Bill Kopper beginning at 7 PM. The items exhibited, which will be on display and available for purchase through November 1, span over a decade of Weintrobs rock photography and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of photos will go to benefit The New Orleans Musicians Clinic.

In collaboration with LSU Healthcare Network and Daughters of Charity Services of New Orleans, The New Orleans Musicians Clinic provides access to health and social welfare services for the local music community. Weintrob, whose work has also been featured in music magazines like Rolling Stone, Spin, Mojo, Billboard and right here on Jambands.com, also served as a house photographer for the City of Denver Theaters and Arenas Division, which includes the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater. The Brooklyn-based photographer has shot many New Orleans icons over the years, including Aaron Neville, George Porter Jr. and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band.
