While Ben Combe has parted ways with Particle, the band has not eased up on its tour plans for 2007. Tea Leaf Green guitarist Josh Clark will step in for most of the group’s late fall tour which will begin on November 29 in Milwaukee, WI at Miramar. The band will gig through December 15, with Clark appearing on most of those dates and a few still up in the air (as presumably the guitarist has a conflict with his TLG shows, which remain unannounced). In addition, Particle will perform a five show New Year’s Eve run with an as-yet-to-determined guest guitar player, beginning on December 27 with two nights at Winston’s in Ocean Beach, CA, then traveling to San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall on December 29 and landing in Denver for a two night stand at Cervantes on December 30 and 31. Finally, the group has revealed that Barry Sless will join Particle for its previously announced Particle gig at Nelson Ledges on October 27, while Clark will do the same at the Highline Ballroom on November 2.
