Earlier this year Dave Matthews Band participated in an AT&T contest to play the Worlds Loudest Pep Rally. For the contest, students from around the country sent a variety of text message, videos, picture, audio, ringtone and written invitations to have the DMB play a free show at their school. In total, the group received over 3 million invitations and the arena-rock band has confirmed that it will play two free shows for the students at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY on November 14 and 15. Robert Randolph & the Family Band will supply support duties on both nights.

In preparation, Dave Matthews Band has confirmed that it will also play its last public show in 2007 at East Rutherford, NJs IZOD Center on November 13. The venue is known to fans as the location Dave Matthews Band recorded the live album Listener Supported. The group will also release its recent performance at Atlantas Meadow in Piedmont Park—-which included a guest appearance by Gregg Allman—-as triple CD-set and on DVD.
