On Wednesday night RAQ celebrated Halloween with a performance at Asheville,
NC’s The Orange Peel. DJ Logic played first and sat-in with the Vermont
quartet for a number of songs, including RAQ’s ‘Ventriloquist’ and Van Halen’s
‘Jump.’ In addition, RAQ also ran through a number of other covers, including
the Beatles’ ‘Helter Skelter,’ Peter Tosh’s ‘Legalize It,’ AC/DC’s
‘It’s A Long Way To The Top (If You Want to Rock N Roll)’ and Bach’s
‘Toccata and Fugue in D Minor’ (which the Disco Biscuits also performed on Halloween). The evening
concluded with a cover of the Cars’ ‘Just What I Needed,’ which segued
into a version of ‘Late Night’ featuring one final spin from Logic. RAQ
will appear at Raleigh, NC’s The Lincoln Theatre, while DJ Logic will perform
at Charleston, SC’s Pour House.
