The 5th annual Mark Vann Foundation Benefit will take place at Colorados The Boulder Theater on December 14. The multi-band event, which pays tribute to the life of the Leftover Salmon co-founder, has blossomed into an annual tradition featuring a number of Vanns closest friends an collaborators. This edition of the benefit will feature Billy Nershis Honkytonk Homeslice, Great American Taxi and a handful of still unannounced performers. Since Nershi will spend a good deal of the fall on the road with Vanns former bandmate Drew Emmitt, it seems only natural that he will perform in some capacity as well.

A night later, on December 15, Honkytonk Homeslice
will co-headline a show with Great American Taxi at Denvers The Oriental Theater. As they have on several occasions recently, Honkytonk Homeslice will expand its lineup to include a few addition players for the gig, including drummer Christian Teele and former String Cheese Incident bassist Keith Moseley.
