Last month we reported that the 5th annual Mark Vann Foundation Benefit will take place at Colorados Boulder Theater on December 14. The roster of performers for the event, which pays tribute to the life of the Leftover Salmon co-founder Mark Vann, has just been announced. Vann’s Leftover Salmon bandmate Vince Herman will appear with his current group Great American Taxi, while other performers include: Honkytonk Homeslice, Railroad Earth’s Tim Carbone, Reed Foehl, Sally Van Meter, New Rank Strangers and many others. This year the evening will build on Vann’s motto ‘Go Big,’ to feature a ‘Go Big with Wigs’ theme, encouraging everyone to wear their favorite wig and/or 70s attire. The night also will include a silent auction, raffles, and an art fair with proceeds to benefit the foundation’s efforts ‘to serve community based non-profit organizations bringing light, love, and laughter into the lives of those in need through nature, music, and the arts; and to provide a conduit for kindhearted people with similar values to nurture impactful positive change within their own communities.’
