Back in 1969 former Animals frontman Eric Burdon began working with a new group. Originally called Nightshift, that band soon changed its name to WAR. Burdon remained with the group for two years, during which they recorded Eric Burdon Declares War and The Black Man’s Burdon. Now, on the heels of recent Cream and Led Zeppelin reunions, London also will host a performance marking Burdon’s return with the band. The show will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on April 21st with tickets on sale next Thursday. The performance is being billed as a on-off, with no additional touring plans announced.
