This evening in Northampton, the Jazz Mandolin Project will deliver its first club gig in some time. At the Iron Horse, Jamie Masefield will be accompanied by Peter Apfelbaum on keys and woodwinds, Michael O’Brien on upright bass and Sean Dixon on drums. Then on Saturday in Fairfield, JMP will deliver its multi-media performance ‘How Much Land Does a Man Need?’ based on the Tolstoy short story. The group has some isolated dates on the tour docket over the coming months, including another ‘How Much Land Does a Man Need?’ show at the Rhode Island School of Design on April 19.
