The documentary film Please Call Home: The Big House Years had been slated to make its New York City premiere this Friday night at The Hudson Theater. The film focuses on the history of the Macon, Georgia home that housed the Allman Brothers Band and its extended family in the early 1970s, exploring the early days of the group, including the band members’ reactions to the deaths of Duane Allman and Berry Oakley. However, the filmmakers have announced that ‘due to unforeseen circumstances,’ the premiere has been postponed. Although tickets will be refunded, the producers have stated they intend to reschedule the event in the near future.
