Last night, recent New Groove of the Month subject Heavy Pets kicked off a mini-run through Colorado at Boulders Fox Theater. The Florida-based band is currently in the midst of a national tour, which includes stops at festivals like Wakarusa, High Sierra and Gathering of the Vibes. The Heavy Pets will also host the first annual Pet Zoo Festival in Spring Mount, PA Meanwhile, the Colorado leg of the groups outing continues with stops at Crested Buttes The Eldo (tonight), Vails The Sandbar (tomorrow) and Denvers Quixotes True Blue (Saturday).
