The Del McCoury Band opened for moe. at Fayetteville, ARs George’s Majestic Lounge Saturday and, as expected, welcomed the group to the South in style. Five songs into moe.s set, Del McCoury, his sons Ron and Rob and fiddler Jason Carter joined moe. onstage for the groups first cover of the traditional number Dark Hollow and a take on ‘Six Days on the Road.’ moe. kept the asterisks coming into the night, busting out a cover of the Flying Burrito Brothers Six Days on the Road for the first time since November 11, 2004 and teasing Peter Framptons Do You Feel Like We Do (complete with Chuck Garvey voice box). moe. will perform Peoria, ILs Riverfront Amphitheatre this Tuesday, before linking up with Del and the Boys again for a performance at Columbus, OHs Lifestyle Communities Pavilion on Wednesday.
