The Pearl Street All-Stars to Return this October
Well stay in Colorado for the time being to bring you the latest from the Pearl Street All-Stars. String Cheese Incident keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth first formed the revolving supergroup a number of years ago and will revive the project on October 18 for a performance at the Boulder Theatre as part of the Mountain Sun Pub & Brewerys 15th anniversary celebration. In addition to mainstay bassist George Porter Jr., the Pearl Street All-Stars will feature a number of yet to be announced familiar faces, likely drawn from the jazz/funk and New Orleans corners of the scene. Past All-Stars have included Karl Denson, Eric Krasno and members of Deep Banana Blackout, among many others.
