Phil Lesh & Friends closed out their run of rehearsal shows of Larkspur,

CA’s Sweetwater Station last night. The group’s first set featured
Grateful Dead classics like ‘Shakedown Street,’ ‘The Other One’ and
‘Truckin’,’ with the bassist’s agent Jonathan Levine once again behind the
drum kit. At the start of the group’s second set, however, John Molo
returned after a three night absence for Jackie Greene’s ‘Gone Wanderin’‘
and ‘Spots Of Time,’ as well as ‘Unbroken Chain,’ ‘The Eleven,’ ‘Down In
The Valley Woe,’ ‘Born Cross Eyed’ and ‘Fire On The Mountain.’ Guitarist
Larry Campbell’s wife, singer Teresa Williams, also took the stage a few
times throughout the night, including the evening’s encore. Phil Lesh &
Friends’ fall tour will begin at Columbia, MD’s Merriweather Post Pavilion
on September 30.
