On Saturday, Umphreys McGee headlined Philadelphias Electric Factory. American Babies supplied opening duties and, partway through Umphreys second set, local hero/Disco Biscuits guitarist Jon Gutwillig replaced Brendan Bayliss for one of the

band’s improvisational Jimmy Stewart segments.
Both Umphreys McGee and the Disco Biscuits have also confirmed some additional details regarding their New Years runs. The members of Umphreys McGee will invite a diverse mix of guests out during their sets, including Buddy Guy, saxophonist Joshua Redman, guitarist Stanley Jordan and the Queen of the Blues, Koko Taylor. Meanwhile, the members of the Disco Biscuits will share the stage to a number of openers, including Dub War NYC (12/26), The Egg (12/27), OTT (12/28) and Eliot Lipp & Pnuma Trios Alex Botwin.
Umphreys McGee will appear at Vancouvera Richards on Richards this Thursday, while the Disco Biscuits will play next at the Caribbean Holidaze retreat in December.
