Family Groove Companys Rock Star Celebrity Death Match

We have one belated New Years Eve report we dont want to let slip. Former New Groove of the Month Family Groove Company performed a Rock Star Celebrity Death Match at Davenport, IAs Redstone Room. There the group offered up a range of covers while delivering the fight card. Match-ups included: Motley Crue vs. Poison, the Grateful Dead vs. Phish, the Bee Gees vs. Gloria Gaynor, and MC Hammer vs. Vanilla Ice. The shows encore found FGC’s Jordan Wilkow out in the audience leading a sing-along behind a baby grand piano moved into position, for such songs as The Joker and Hey Jude.

Family Groove Company is now off until late January, when the band will begin a swing through the Southeast.
