Michael Franti, Grace Potter, Talib Kweli and The Dresden Dolls among the acts scheduled to perform at this evenings Rock the Votes Inauguration Party. The multi-band event will take place at Washington, DCs 9:30 Club also boasting sets by Jamie Burke and The Honey Brothers featuring Entourage star Adrian Grenier. The show will be The Dresden Dolls first live appearance in the U.S. since this past summers Rothbury Festival. Singer/pianist Amanda Palmer has spent the past few months touring behind her first solo release, Who Killed Amanda Palmer, while drummer Brian Viglione has spent the Dresden Dolls hiatus on the road with the World/Inferno Friendship Society.
