This evening at The Triple in Richmond VA, the Jamie McLean Band will begin a month of dates. The group spent portions of January and February in the studio, tracking the follow-up to its American Heartache release. In addition, McLean has been back and forth to Europe touring with fellow Dirty Dozen Brass Band alum Big Sam Williams. The Jamie McLean Band will spend much of March in the South before McLean returns to his native Northeast for a March 25 solo acoustic set at New York City’s Rockwood Music Hall. These gigs will feature some material from the forthcoming disc, which is set for a late summer release.
