Great American Taxi recently completed work sophomore album, Reckless Habits. The record was produced by Railroad Earths Tim Carbone and features appearances by pedal steel wiz Barry Sless, banjo ace Matt Flinner, the Black Swan

Gospel Singers and the Peak to Freak Horns. Grammy winning engineer and producer Phil Nicolo also lent his talents to the mix and mastering of the record at his fabled Studio 4.
While Taxi has yet to confirm an official release date, the group is offering fans a free download of one song from the sessions, ‘Unpromised Land’ (the track has been listed as as ‘Whiskey on bootlegs over the past few years). Great American Taxi will perform at Fort Collins, COs Hodi’s Half Note this evening with both the Black Swan Singers and the Peak to Freak horns. The three groups will then travel through Colorado for performances at Boulders Boulder Theater this Friday and Denvers Bluebird Theater this Saturday.
