MCP Presents, the people behind Camp Bisco and The Echo Project, are partnering with WCP, Simply Play and The Howlin’ Wolf to create a series of late night shows during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The series will kick off with a stacked night of music at The Howlin Wolf on April 24 featuring Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk and Robert Walter & Friends featuring Will Bernard & Simon Lott. The party will continue the following night at the Howlin Wolf with an evening of electronica and hip-hop that includes performances by Lotus, EOTO, Lyrics Born, Pnuma PA and Gravity A. For this performance, Lyrics Born will be joined by a live band, while EOTOs expanded lineup will include Michael Kang and Particles Steve Molitz. QuiVa Productions and MCP Presents will then move their late night festivities to One Eyed Jacks for a 2 AM show featuring Pretty Lights & Dieselboy on May 1.

A portion of ticket sales for this JazzFest concert series will benefit Sweet Home New Orleans, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting local musicians who were displaced in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. The organization offers financial assistance, housing grants, and pro-bono legal advice. Sweet Home representatives will be at The Howlin’ Wolf during the shows on April 24 and 25.
