The Dead have announced that they will offer 17 concert books, offering images from each stop on their upcoming tour. Longtime Grateful Dead photographer Jay Blakesberg has signed on to help create these books which will be made within 72 hours of each show. In addition, through June 30, the group will kick in the $5 cost that will allow its fans to create personal covers for the collectible books. Greensboro Coliseum, the Dead will open their tour at the Greensboro Auditorium this coming Sunday and starting on Thursday the 16th, books will be available with the full details at www.blurb.com/thedead.
