Starting on May 22, the Morrison Hotel Gallery in New York City will host a photo exhibit that focuses on My Morning Jacket. Photographer Sam Erickson shot the group from 2002 to 2008 while MMJ was recording It Still Moves, Z and Evil Urges. Nearly two dozen of these images, including some live shots will be part of the exhibition entitled ‘STILL MOVING: My Morning Jacket by Sam Erickson.’ Limited edition hand-printed, archival shots from the film negatives will be available at the Gallery and a preview can be found at the Morrison Hotel on the Bowery website.
