The members of Particle made the most of their time in Colorado this past weekend. On Friday, bassist Eric Gould and drummer Darren Pujalet debuted a new project called Let It Go! at Denvers Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom. The improv-heavy group found the Particle rhythm section collaborating with guitarist Brian Jordan (Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe), guitarist/keyboardist Ryan Burnett (Signal Path) and guitarist Josh Clark (Tea Leaf Green). The following day an expanded version of Particle featuring special guests Michael Kang, saxophonist Pete Wall and percussionist Ben Baruch supported moe. at Snowmass, COs Chili Pepper & Brew Festival. Clark also emerged for the final three songs of Particles set: The Golden Gator, The Elevator and Sun Mar 11. Particle keyboardist Steve Molitz then stayed in the area to perform with his college bandmate and Denver MC Neil McIntyres group Yo Flaco at Denvers Owsley’s Golden Road.

Next up, the keyboardist will back songwriter Jerry Hannan at Bonnaroo this Saturday. As previously reported, Hannans backing band will also feature John Molo, Cody Dickinson and John Avila, among others.
