Lake Trouts instrumental alter-ego, Big in Japan, has announced a free August residency. James Griffith, Mike Lowry and Matt Pierce will appear at The Wind up Space in their native Baltimore for all five Sundays of the month beginning on August 2nd. The band pledges to offer ‘new music and special guests every week.’ This past spring Big In Japan released a seven-song live album recorded in December 2008 after the group completed an extended tour as part of the indie-rock band UNKLE.
