Back on August 4, Charlie Sexton sat in with Bob Dylan, when Dylan performed with his band at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas. It now appears that this appearance was a harbinger of things to come as Sexton will rejoin Dylan’s group when it returns to the road in October. Sexton who was a member of Dylan’s band from 1999 through 2002, will replace guitarist Denny Freeman. However Sexton also will continue to perform and record with Doyle Bramhall II, Tommy Shannon, and Chris Layton in Arc Angels, which reformed earlier this year, as Arc Angels has a new CD/DVD set due in the fall.
