The Chris Berry Trio featuring Michael Kang and Steve Kimock will play a free show at Brooklyn, NY’s new Brooklyn Bowl tomorrow, September 15. The musicians are slated to take the stage at 10 PM.

The show is the final stop on the African-electronica-improvisational group’s brief September tour. In addition to Berry, the trio’s other mainstays are drummer Aaron Johnston and bassist Jesse Murphy. Both musicians are founding members of the Brazilian Girls.

The Chris Berry Trio is also slated to enter the studio this week to work on some new tracks. Berry and Kang will then bring their Panjea project to Chicago’s Kinetic Playground on September 18 and Salem, MO’s Camp Zoe on September 19. The latter show is part of Schwagstock 42, a weekend of music that features The Schwag, EOTO, Nailhouse featuring Keith Moseley, Kyle Hollingsworth Band and Sikiru Adepoju, among others.
