Meters guitarist Leo Nocentelli has put together another all-star group for two West Coast shows. The Meters’ Experience will find Nocentelli, drummer Stanton Moore (Galactic), keyboardist Bernie Worrell (P-Funk) and Andy Hess (Gov’t Mule) presumably running through classic New Orleans covers and Meters originals. The shows are scheduled to take place at Los Angeles’ The Mint on October 9 and San Francisco’s Mission Rock on October 10.

Nocentelli has used the Meters Experience name on occasion over the past few years. The Meters guitarist performed this past weekend at Harrodsburg, KY’s Terrapin Hill Harvest Festival with Worrell, Adam Dietch and his former bandmate George Porter Jr. as The Superheroes.
