Last night, Dave Matthews Band performed at North Little Rock, AR’s Dickey-Stephens Park. Gregg Allman opened the show and later joined Dave Matthews Band during its headlining set for “Melissa.” The Allman Brothers Band leader has sat in with Matthews on “Melissa” a few times in recent years, most recently at New York’s Madison Square Garden this past April.

Dave Matthews Band rubbed elbows with another legend at Tinley Park, IL’s First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre on Saturday. Willie Nelson opened for the area-rockers and later took the stage for the Matthews original “Gravedigger.” Nelson recorded a version of Matthews’ solo cut for his own Moment of Forever. In addition, Robert Randolph made a guest appearance with the band on “Rhyme & Reason” this past Friday at Des Moines, IA’s Principal Park after opening the night.
