The Motet is currently sailing the high seas aboard Jam Cruise. However after the band returns it will gear up for a big two night stand in Colorado. On January 22 and 23, The Motet will revisit the music it covered during its past Halloween shows to commemorate the re-opening of Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom. Joining The Motet for “The Best of Halloween” will be Jen Durkin, Sam Kininger, Ryan Zoidis and Dan Lebowitz as well as numerous Motet members past and present for what will be a thirteen member group. The setlists for the two Denver dates will draw on the many artists the Motet has covered over the years: Talking Heads, Tower of Power, Jamiroquai, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Sly and the Family Stone, and Herbie Hancock.
