Several additional artists have confirmed benefit shows for the victims of the recent tragedies in Haiti. Radiohead will perform at Los Angeles’ Music Box Theatre at The Fonda this Sunday, January 24. The show is Radiohead’s first official appearance since 2008. In related news, several musicians and comedian will play Haiti benefits this coming Saturday and Wednesday at Brooklyn, NY’s Music Hall of Williamsburg. The shows are presented by promoter Bowery Presents, blogger Brooklyn Vegan and N.6th for Haiti, an organization founded in reaction to the unfolding tragedy in Haiti. Saturday’s performance will benefit the Red Cross, featuring short sets by Spoon’s Britt Daniel, Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), St. Vincent, Zach Galifianakis, Janeeane Garofalo, Wyatt Senac, John Shade and host Bobby Tisdale. Wednesday’s benefit will support Partners in Health, featuring appearances by The Roots, Kaki King, Eric Krasno & Chapter 2 with John Scofield and very special guest Matisyahu. An after part will take place at Cameo, a venue located down the street from the Music Hall, on Wednesday.
