Following the departure of founding ekoostik hookah bass player, Cliff Starbuck, the band will continue to take time off the road. However on February 18 the group will perform its first gig with new bassist Phil Risko at the Clazel Theater in Bowling Green, OH. Risko, previously performed in Akron, OH’s Greenleif and also, as of late, in The Recipe. He debuted with hookah on New Year’s Eve where he was introduced by Starbuck from the stage and joined in for a version of the group’s “Sister Sugar.”
