Last week Galactic and Tea Leaf Green took the stage together in Philadelphia and New York, performing some songs voted on by fans of the two groups. Later this month Galactic will team up with Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe for round two of the Throw-down Request Live series. These collaborations will take place at the The Pageant in St. Louis (Feb. 18), The Fillmore in Denver (Feb. 20) , and the Wilma Theater in Missoula (Feb 23). Fans now have six new songs from which to choose: “Burning Down the House” (Talking Heads), “Goin’ Down” (Allen Toussaint), “(I’m A) Road Runner” (Junior Walker), “The Weight” (The Band) and “Up On Cripple Creek” (The Band). Folks wishing to participate should stop by the TRL voting page.
