The 40th Anniversary of Earth Day will be celebrated on Sunday April 25 with a Climate Rally on The National Mall. Sting, The Roots, Bob Weir, John Legend, Mavis Staples, Booker T. Jones, Passion Pit and Q-Tip are among the artists who will appear. In addition, Reverend Jesse Jackson, film director James Cameron, Olympic gold medalist Billy Demong, and author Margaret Atwood will be on hand to participate.
