Live Nation’s No Service Fee June

Concert promoter Live Nation has announced that it will waive service fees for tickets purchased in June to several hundred shows. Fans can currently purchase tickets to shows by Phish, Widespread Panic, My Morning Jacket, B.B. King, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Dave Matthews Band, Santana, Eric Clapton, Steve Miller, the Black Crowes, STS9, Jack Johnson, The Flaming Lips, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, MGMT, Zac Brown Band, Michael Franti & Spearhead and many more without paying Live Nation’s service fee.

In other news, Live Nation has confirmed that one of its classic New York venues will return to its original name. After going by the name the Fillmore at Irving Plaza since 2007, the venue will simply be known as Irving Plaza on June 23, 2010. A replica of the venue’s marquee in the ‘90s and ‘00s has been commissioned.
