Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will perform at Canandaigua, NY’s Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center on July 6. While the guitarists have performed as a duo hundreds of times over the years, it is rare for the two musicians to play in this configuration while Dave Matthews Band is on the road.

In related news, this weekend Dave Matthews Band headlined two shows at Saratoga Springs, NY’s SPAC. After Friday night’s performance, Dave Matthews Band touring members Jeff Coffin (saxophone) and Rashawn Ross (trumpet) both sat in with
Sam Kininger Band at the nearby Putnam Den. Rashawn, who has played with Kininger in Lettuce and Soulive, sat in at various points throughout the entire show. Coffin emerged during the group’s second set. SKB will perform at New York’s Blue Note on June 25 and 26.
