Matis on the bus

Matisyahu is currently in the midst of a summer tour that will carry him from the West Coast, down to the South and on to the Northeast. On Wednesday August 18 this will land him in Austin, TX at Stubb’s where he recorded 2005’s celebrated 2005’s live disc Live at Stubb’s, which included the first recorded version of “King Without A Crown,” ultimately reached the top spot on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart and has sold nearly 700,000 copies to date. Matisyahu will make a go of it again on the 18th as he will record a new live album at the venue, set for a release in early 2011.

Matis is now on the road in support of his latest studio record Light, with the next stop on Thursday in Portland, OR. For an intimate look at his current tour check out the new video just posted to Relix.com, “Matisyahu: A Day In Atlanta.”
