Umphrey’s McGee has added a few fall dates. The band will now appear at Millvale, PA’s Mr. Small’s Theatre on October 21, Cleveland, OH’s House of Blues on October 23 and Des Moines, IA’s People’s Court on October 27. As previously reported, Umphrey’s will celebrate Halloween in St. Louis on October 30 and 31.

This past weekend Umphrey’s McGee performed two shows in New Jersey. The band’s Garden State run started Saturday at Asbury Park, NJ’s Stone Pony Outdoors with a show that included part of Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m on Fire” during a run from “In the Kitchen” into Billy Joel’s “The Stranger” and back into “In the Kitchen.” The next night the band headlined Atlantic City, NJ’s House of Blues. Partway through the band’s second set, Matisyahu/Addison Groove Project keyboardist Rod Marscher, who currently lives in New Jersey, sat in on “Much Obliged.” Umphrey’s McGee tour continues at Norfolk, VA’s The NorVa this Wednesday.
