On October 1 and 2 Yoko Ono will follow-up her Brooklyn concerts from earlier this year with performances at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. In February her Plastic Ono Band was joined by Eric Clapton, Paul Simon, Gene Ween and members of Sonic Youth. This time out the Plastic Ono Band (which features her son Sean along with Japanese musicians Cornelius and Yuka Honda) will expand with an array of notable players over the two nights. On October 1, the list includes Iggy Pop, The RZA, Perry Farrell, Nels Cline, Carrie Fisher, Vincent Gallo, Haruomi Hosono, Harper Simon and Tune-Yards. On October 2 the group will be joined by Lady Gaga, Mike Watt and Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore. Tickets for the two shows are on sale now.
